Yes, in that regard it fits well into the model. However, there are
some properties that people feel should be the sole responsibiliy of
the browser/reader. Examples include the dimension of the window, the
use of anti-aliased fonts or not, and now the flagging of errors.
These are mostly reader/browser issues (although Scott disagrees on
the last one), but it's very convenient to address them through the
style sheet language. Since the model, as Benjamin says, does support
the overriding of author's styles, I think we should let these issues
be addressed through style sheets. But we havn't reached "rough
consesus" on this.
