Description: The Linux Event Logging for Enterprise Systems project provides an open-source, platform-independent Event Logging facility for Linux.It offers capabilities and features comparable to similiar facilities found in Enterprise-class UNIX-based Operating Systems. It complies with working draft of POSIX Standard 1003.25, "System API - Services for Reliable, Available, and Serviceable Systems". To help facilitate support for Enterprise level logging a growing set of device driver patches are being made available as reference implementations.
