I'm involved in work on
a general purpose behavior representation format
which will integrate smoothly with Inventor. The context of the work
is commercial, but the format will be put in the public domain.
This isn't directly relevant to the first stage of the VRML design, since
the issue of behavior lies a bit in the future.
Nonetheless, a fair amount of discussion of behavior
is appearing on the list now. Also,
it may be relevant that people such as ourselves
are working on behavior in the Inventor context, since
this may make Inventor a more attractive choice as a basis for VRML.
