Just one more naive question...
I've noticed that there seem to be a number of GIF formats out there,
including one that NetScape loads across the whole image incrementally.
Question - does there exist good public domain source code to convert
from all the flavors of GIF to Windows BMP (or just straight rgb). I have
some source, but it doesn't seem to work on some GIFs.
Also, does anyone know the pointer to a description of the official
Gif standard on the internet (I don't have compuserve)?
I saw some stuff in the graphics FAQ about "pbmplus" for this task,
but it's been hard to get onto an ftp server that has it.
Thanks again for the help,
