Confused -- but that's standard

Folks:

Over the last 10 days/ 2 weeks mention has been made of at least 3
alternative HTML+ specs, DTDs, or whatever. Assuming I counted right,
that is. Would somebody who knows care to post a summary of author,
status, and location for all of them?
