There is a working group for a common calendaring API; I suspect they'll
deal with the issue of a common date representation format since you need
that as a base. eowens@ccmail.com (Ed Owens) is the main contact and
there's a meeting prior to Interop on August 23rd for this group. I'm
hoping that a MIME subtype can be established that would simplify
exchanging calendar information. Lesley Schroeder (sp?) at (408) 446-9158
can get more information to you.

A simple DATE format for HTML is worthwhile, but an elaborate set of date
representations will just end up duplicating efforts. A better approach
might be to get URLs into the calendaring API :)
