being new to the list and the subject I would like to ask you experts to set
some pointers for me.
I am looking for two kinds of applications related to each other:
- a hypertext document retrieval system (with and without network capabilities)
- a hypertext context sensitive help system
After a first look at xmosaic I am asking myself whether it is possible to use it
unchanged for the former problem and use a 'subset' of xmosaic for the latter
(a hypertext browser or -library).
I want to support Macs (partly with AU/X), PCs (Windows, Desqview/X),
and Unix boxes (Sun, SGI, mips) either with the
same X11 based application using all the available Xservers on these platforms,
or using architecture dependent applications.
Any suggestions/experiences/ideas on that?
Thank you very much in advance for your help
