I am happy to announce that open-realty 2.0 has been released; the download along with a list of the major new features is available from http://www.open-realty.org/download.html

The Demo on the Open-Realty site will be updated later on this evening. I will also be writing and posting an upgrade guide in the next 24 hours. There are installation and configuration instructions on the wiki at http://wiki.open-realty.org/

The Forums have also been updated, we have added a number of new forums for 2.0. The Mod Release form and the Template Release form both require moderator approval of all posts. We will be checking that all templates work and validate to xhtml standard and that all add-ons make proper use of the add-on system. This is being done to make sure that future upgrades in OR are as smooth and painless as possible, and that everyone has a consistent and hopefully pleasant experience working with OR.
