Product Excellence Awards at LinuxWorld Conference and Expo

And the winners are...

The winners of the Product Excellence Awards at LinuxWorld Conference & Expo(R) in Boston have been announced!

Best Open Source Solution was awarded to Mambo: Mambo 4.5.1a

Not only that, the "Best of Show" award, which recognizes the best total industry solution, was also award to us.

Andrew Eddie, Project Director of Mambo, was completely overwhelmed when he got the news.

There are some days that make it all worth while. I've long said that Mambo is more than just one person. Mambo is built on talented teams and a committed community. Today that talent and commitment has been honoured in a special way. I'm very proud to be part of Mambo but even more proud of all the hard work put in by so many.

Peter Lamont, CEO of Miro, was speechless.

I would like to personally congratulate each and every one of the dev team for this spectacular win for Mambo. Your hard work and perseverance has paid off with this remarkable achievement. You should be very proud, as I am very proud of you.

The Mambo community owes a debt of gratitude to the working party that makes the wheels turn on the Mambo train. More power to us!!
