The USENIX Board of Directors is pleased to announce
its initial support of and participation in a new
experiment in the electronic distribution of news
and mail over public packet-switch networks, to be
called UUNET.
The investigation will be directed by Rick Adams and
Mike O'Dell. Requests for information should be
