Berkeley Software Design, Inc. Expands Executive Team

Fall Internet World '96 - New York, NY (December 11, 1996) - Rob Kolstad, President of Berkeley Software Design, Inc. (BSDI) announced today the appointment of Robert Todd as Chief Financial Officer and Mark Trimue as Vice President of Marketing.

"Mark Trimue brings his significant computer industry and BSDI experience to his new marketing responsibilities. These appointments sets the stage for BSDI to further establish itself as a serious player in the internetworking marketplace."

Robert Todd is a seasoned financial executive with more than twenty years of experience in the information technology industry. Most recently he was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer with Total Multimedia, Inc., a public software development firm. Prior to his tenure at Total Multimedia, Mr. Todd established a personal computer assembly and direct sales and service operation for the CompuAdd Corporation in Europe serving as General Manager, Europe and Chief Financial Officer, Corporate.

Earlier, Mr. Todd worked at IBM, ultimately being appointed Finance Director, responsible for the financial planning, budgeting and control of IBM's $25 billion U.S. sales, service and administration activities. Mr. Todd's achievements at IBM included being one of three executives who established the IBM Credit Corporation. Robert Todd has earned an MS in Management from the Sloan School of Management and a BS in Engineering from MIT.

Completing the executive team is the appointment of Mark Trimue as Vice President of Marketing. Mark has over twenty years of experience in the international high tech sales and marketing field. He has held management positions with a variety of high technology companies including Raytheon, Samna Corporation, Computone Corporation, and Equinox Systems, Inc. He holds a B.A. from the University of Arkansas.
